The District fender ONLY works with District decks. Slide your existing brake out of the deck and slide in the fender. It's that simple.
Only works with wheels up to 110mm. T were scooter brakes and then t were fenders. So, which should you buy?
Easy, if you want to be able to stop, pick up a brake, which you can actually press down on with your rear foot to stop your whip.
If you don't want that rear brake to inadvertently stop your wheel when your foot hits it on a big landing, you want a fender.
Please note that a fender does not function as a brake and will not stop you. In other words, you're going to wear out a lot of shoes.
The District Fender is a plastic fender that works with the following wheel diameters: 100mm,110mm,115mm,120mm,125mm and the following wheel widths: 24mm,26mm,28mm,30mm. Should you purchase metal or plastic brakes?
It depends. If you are looking for the lightest possible setup - go nylon or plastic. If you want a durable brake that's going to last a long time, pick up a steel brake.
The District Scooter Fender is durable and was made to take on some serious abuse, whether you ride park or street!
Ordered a XL company called to advise a XL was not available and a L would be a generous size, recieved the following day and it’s perfect, very generous sizing,
Wow
What a difference a paddle makes ,
Took it for its maiden voyage tonight and was amazed at the quality and precision and performance of it
Absolutely stunning
Great product, well made with triple zip waterproof seal. Takes great photos without having to remove phone, using it paddle boarding and would recommend. Oh, fast delivery too, thanks Reef Rash!
Second pair I have bought, my son has moved up a size. Easy to get on. The last pair have been worn a lot over 2 years, althought the Insole has started to fall apart in one shoe.
Although not winter yet I suffer with diabetic neuropathy and get cold feet after wild swimming. I put on wool socks and fleece lined trousers to keep the temperature up .Now the boots have just topped that off .
Just helps keep the warmth and temperature constant in my feet helping the circulation and neuropathy pain after the swim.
Bought as a size and half bigger than usual to wear with dry suit socks. Not used in water yet but have tried on. I already have these in a smaller size and they are comfy
The products were as described and arrived promptly with good communication from Reef Rash. They were well priced and have already been used. Thank you! Nice to support a independent shop rather than huge, faceless multi-nationals that don't pay taxes!
